2.let him/her paint their face with the base color, (red,) teach them how to wipe the sponge in the paint, and how to wipe it onto their face.
3.your turn, dip your little paintbrush into black facepaint, (better quality paint works best in this step, but make-do with whatever you have.you can even use liquid eyeliner if you are desperate.)
4.start drawing x-like lines (see picture) across his/her face (avoiding the eyes)
5. connect the lines with half circles (see picture)
6.optional: white eye-shadow on eyes
*if you let them be a part of the project it will be a lot more fun for the both of you, they won't be as antsy or anxious. +play their type of music,trust me it keeps them in place. {this project is great for babysitting}

1.follow the outline of the tip of your nose with black face-paint or liquid eyeliner
2.draw three lines for whiskers coming from your nose
3.optional:thicker eyeliner + matching lipstick +cat ears headband/hat
